Andrew is 8 months

Andrew has now passed 8 months and is desperate to get on the move. He still looks just like Bogi - so everyone tells me!

Sunny Spring

We've had very good weather this spring.

Helena is really enjoying the climbing frame - more room for it here.

Babba is the first to break the turf - he's planting tatties in this patch.

Our first lunch in the garden.

The New House

We are very pleased with our new house and are very thankful the move went incredibly well and we have settled quickly.

"Front elevation" - we have a lovely area of grass at the front which gets the sun all day (when the sun shines).

We also have a lovely big garden at the back and side - plenty of room for fun, football, flowers and veggies!

The girls have laid claim to the understair cupboard. It is now officially their hideout. Daa has now fitted a light so it is much easier for them to play in there.

Mammy loves the monkey puzzle tree in next door's garden. It's huge!

Moving

January was an emotional time as we packed up in to prepare for our move into the city. We had a wonderful 7 years in our house - and many precious memories, not least of which was taking each of our three lovely children home here as babies.

What an upheaval!

Thank goodness for parents!

However experience the removal men (Dad and Babba) it is very stressful watching them take all your dear belongings and packing them without the several layers of bubble wrap I would have ideally put round everything ! I'm a very risk averse female!

The last supper - a Newmachar chippy!

Return to Blogging

Where do you start when you haven't blogged for 6 months?

Here is Lois blowing out the candles on her 3rd birthday, back in November.

Helena celebrated her 7th birthday in Shetland with a pool party, in December.

We all celebrated Christmas in Shetland - Andrew's first trip.
